The Barn welcomes couples and small families, it is a non-smoking, pet-free house
Reservation & deposit -
To reserve The Barn please request a booking form. The booking form needs to be returned with a non-refundable deposit of 1/3rd of the total booking cost. On receipt we will confirm the accommodation.
The person who signs the booking form certifies that he/she is authorised to agree the conditions of booking on behalf of all persons included on the booking form, including any persons substituted or added at a later date. The signatory must be a member of the party occupying the property, and a resident of the United Kingdom.
The hirer agrees that in no circumstances will the property be occupied by more than the number of persons stipulated on the booking form.
Final Payment is required six weeks before the start of the tenancy. Non payment by the due date will be treated as a cancellation and the property will be advertised for re-let without reference to the applicants, who remain liable for the payment of the full amount.
Cancellation -
In the event of cancellation of a booking, every effort will be made to re-let. However, if it is impossible to re-let, then the full amount of rent can be claimed. The deposit is non-refundable.
The owners accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss or damage to the persons or property on the premises. Also if due to an occurrence beyond the owner’s control, the flat is not available as booked, the owners will refund any payment made but be under no further liability towards the hirer, although every effort will be made to find other accommodation for the hirer.
Insurance -
We strongly recommend holiday/travel insurance as the islands occasionally experience conditons which can affect flying/sailing schedules. Please check your insurance covers delayed travel.
Arrival & Departure
Change-over day is Friday. The Barn may be occupied after 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 9.30am on the day of departure.
